Here is the event poster for our group. Four members are showing their stuff. Helene and Bob are showing Helene's hand dye fabric and Distributing Helene's' Stash at a giveaway price. Helene has a few quilts with prices and Bob has a few of his as well. Unfortunately Bob's Portrait quilts are still in the design stage.
Rachel Biel Taibi is awesome. Daughter of missionaries she must have the best contacts and friends world wide that you can imagine. they have helped her get an incredible collection of fabric wonders. Her name in Pashtu is Rayela and she is keeping the most incredible blog. She has assembled an amazing collection of hard to find fabric and fiber gems.
Irene Reising is a long arm quilter and had a quilt store years back. Recently she has had some medical set backs that have complicated her life in some ways but have let her get back to her love of quilting. Irene and her husband Ken had a great first day but I think there is some great stuff left.
There are other Paducah Fiber Artists that you should see. Judeen is a knitting fool and has a way of finding fabulous yarn for her scarves and hats. they are so soft and warm. Her studio is not so obvious but she is well worth seeking out.
Caryl Bryer Fallert is the most famous fiber artist that meets with our group. Her Bryerpatch Studio in Lowertown is a must stop for any Quilter with an art Quilt interest.
Charlotte Erwin does fabulous marbling and gets her hands into many fiber forms.
Frieda Fairchild does many forms of fiber art and is viewable thru studio MisKa with her daughter Cricket.
